Christine Britton

BSc(Hons), MCSP, HPC (Reg)

Since qualifying from Teeside University in 2000, Christine has had a diverse career, based in the NHS, private practice and a semi-professional sports environment.

Christine specialises in the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries, spinal and lower and upper limb pain. Christine believes the heart of physio is to ensure that the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction is fully discovered and treated accordingly.


Sue Coombes

BSc (Hons), MCSP, HPC (Reg)

Sue is a senior physiotherapist with a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Sue also has a keen interest in golf and is currently Ladies Vice Captain at the Marriot St.Pierre.

Kate van Rensburg

MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP,
HPC (Reg), MSOM

Kate qualified as a physiotherapist from Sheffiled Hallam University in 1998. She has extensive experience as a musculoskeletal practitioner in both the NHS and the private sector.

Based in Wales since 2002, Kate currently holds a senior position in an NHS Physiotherapy department in addition to working in private practice for 6 years, joining CPC in 2010.

Kate has an MSc in Orthopaedic Medicine from Middlesex University and is a member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (SOM) and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS).

Richard Coates

MSc, BSc (Hons), PgDip, MCSP, HPC (Reg), AACP, ACPSM

Richard qualified from the Welsh College of Medicine in 2000. Since then he has worked in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in musculoskeletal injuries and in elite sport, working with The Gwent Dragons, Newport RFC and the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC).

He also has an MSc in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University, and recently won a Fellowship award from the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS). Richard also lectures at the University of Cardiff.

Richard is qualified in Acupuncture for Pain Control, and is a member of the Association of Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM).

Vanessa Coates

BSc (Hons), MCSP, HPC (Reg), ACPOHE

Vanessa has become a highly respected physiotherapist since qualifying from the Welsh College of Medicine in 2002. She has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in Chepstow Community Hospital and Gwent Healthcare, as well as in elite sport with Newport RFC and UWIC.

Vanessa has a keen interest in ergonomics and is a member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists working in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).

Lynda Fox (Practice Manager)

Lynda is the first point of contact for most patients. She has a vast experience of working in a healthcare setting and will be only to happy to help with booking appointments, and sorting out any queries that you may have.
